Ingredients
1 kg cherries
10 cloves
3 allspice corns
1 cinnamon stick
Marinade
500 ml Dansukker Light Syrup
400 ml water
300 ml white vinegar
Instructions
Delicious with game or beef.
Rinse and pit the cherries. Put the berries and spices in a large, warm, thorougly cleaned jar. Combine the ingredients for the syrup in a pan and bring to the boil. Pour the warm syrup over the cherries. Seal. Store in a cool place. Ready to serve after 2-3 weeks.
